Who are we?

JST Medical has over 20 years experience in the service, repair and testing of a wide range of equipment in the medical, dental and veterinary industries including X-Ray, autoclaves, dental chairs, anaesthetic and more. JST Medical are NZ’s only stockists of Melag spare parts.

 

 

Jaime Taylor's qualifications include a City & Guilds in Engineering, trained Anaesthetic Service Technician, Radiation Licence No 20479, Electrical Service Technician - Licence No 264972. Jaime moved into the medical field in 1993, working for Siemens-South Africa, before arriving in Napier, New Zealand in 1994. After that he established J Taylor Medical Engineering, which changed names to J.S.T. Medical Ltd in 2008. Over the 20 year period factory technical training from various suppliers has been ongoing allowing the company to service a wide variety of equipment and becoming authorised to service and test a wide range of radiology, anaesthetic, medical, dental, physiotherapy and veterinary equipment

James Taylor has been performance testing medical equipment for many years to AS/NZ 3551 specifications. In mid 2014 James joined Jaime to become a Steriliser Service Technician, and has since attended factory training courses enabling him to service/repair dental suction units, compressors and dental chairs. James travelled to Berlin/Germany for extensive training at the Melag factory in June 2018. This training enabled JST Medical to fully support the Melag product range providing sales and sole spare parts distribution for New Zealand. 

 

 

 

JST Medical's sales philosophy is to provide high quality equipment/products that are reliable and most of all meet the needs of the customer. JST are fortunate that they are a service company with experience servicing a wide range of equipment and, using that knowledge have selected brands for retail that are leaders in their fields. We have a nationwide service network using only registered Melag service technicians to support that brand.
